Ooredoo’s Nojoom rewards and other benefits beckon for telehealth app users

Ooredoo’s digitalisation drive extends to remote healthcare with new partnership

Ooredoo, the country’s leading innovator in digital transformation, has partnered with the medical platform innovation Ember Medical to offer a new solution for doctors and patients alike.

Ember Medical is a telehealth app enabling doctors and patients to connect online from the safety and comfort of home, removing the need for an initial face-to-face consultation.

The new partnership with Ooredoo empowers customers with flexible payment options, rewards and other benefits, said a Press note from Ooredoo.

Ooredoo’s partnership with Ember Medical will see Nojoom Points, Ooredoo Money Wallet and Ooredoo direct billing integrated as payment options. Nojoom member will get 100 Nojoom Points when they register on the app for the first time, then will earn one Nojoom Point for every QR1 they spend using the Ember Medical platform.

As an added incentive to celebrate the launch of Ember Medical, customers downloading the app and registering until 30 November 2021 will receive 250 Nojoom Points instead of 100.

Sabah Rabiah Al-Kuwari, director PR at Ooredoo, said, “The nation’s and indeed the world’s, recent challenging experiences indicate the great potential of telehealth as part of a wider, ICT-led digital transformation of society.

“Ooredoo’s collaboration with Ember Medical is an exciting step in the right direction – yet another step along the digitalisation journey – and one that confirms Ooredoo’s position as a leader in digitalisation and customer satisfaction.

“We’re pleased to be working with Ember Medical to add yet another valuable service for our customers, with extra benefits.”
